Four students were killed and nine others hurt when the Ohio National Guard opened fire amid an anti-war protest on the Kent State campus in Ohio.
Those killed: Allison Krause, Jeffrey Miller, Sandra Scheuer and William Schroeder. Those wounded: Alan Canfora, John Cleary, Thomas Grace, Dean Kahler, Joseph Lewis, Donald Mackenzie, James Russell, Robert Stamps and Douglas Wrentmore.
I remember Kent State. Now, more than ever, it seems important to remember. We are in “ Kent State” times once again. Only worse.
